Health and safety and insurance

Allbright Service Ltd is totally committed to ensuring that we provide a safe working environment for all our employees, our clients’ staff and the public.

We are proud to be accredited with the National Brittannia’s SafeContractor scheme.

All our cleaning operatives are trained in basic health and safety, and are trained in the health and safety requirements specific to the site in which they are working. In addition to providing on-going and refresher training we also provide guidance for any specialist or unique tasks. When required, our operatives are equipped with the necessary PPE protection.
At the start of any contract a risk assessment is carried out, and our Health and Safety Site Pack is provided. This includes any particular customer information like fire procedures and emergency contacts.
We operate a colour coding system for all cloths and mops. All electrical equipment is portable appliance-tested annually, and sight- inspected on a regular basis.

We try to restrict the use of any chemicals to those which are least harmful. Where necessary, assessments are carried out on any products under COSHH regulations (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health). COSHH and product information sheets are included in the Site Pack.

Insurance

Allbright Services Ltd carries extensive insurance. Our standard cover for Employer's Liability is £10m, and £5m for Public and Products Liability. Our staff are all fidelity-guaranteed and insured to hold keys and alarm codes.
Our policy is available for inspection and any additional special risks can be catered for.
